Homemade Magic Shell

Skip the store bought stuff, and make the best chocolate magic shell at home! This nostalgic ice cream topping is exactly what these hot temps are calling for, and it is the easiest recipe to make!
I prefer using a good quality dark chocolate for this recipe, but milk and semisweet work just as well. It's totally up to you.
All that's left to do is pick up your favorite ice cream, and some sprinkles!
Homemade Magic Shell
Ingredients:
- 6 ounces (1 cup) chocolate - I prefer a good quality dark chocolate
- 2 Tbsp. coconut oil
- Melt chocolate and coconut oil in a double boiler.
- Spoon over ice cream or transfer to a jar and store at room temperature until ready to use.
- If magic shell hardens up in the jar, pop it in the microwave for 10-15 seconds until it's fluid again.
